I just find it very odd that there are no threads related to which books one should buy to prepare for the MCAD.

Right now I'm looking at the books written by Mike Gunderloy for VB .NET. Is that good/bad???

I do have a few questions though. Coming from VB 6.0 and little web experience, I was going to focus solely on the web tests to force myself to learn this stuff. Is that a good idea? Having programmed VB 6.0 professionally for 3 years, how long should I realistically expect to be studying for each test? I've already worked with ADO and .NET, and that didn't take long to learn. I plan on taking 70-305, 70-310, and 70-229. Any book recommendations would be great. Thanks!

I've just received my first book related to MCAD this morning. I had a look at the Amazon UK web site and searched for books relating to the exam (70-315) and just picked the one with the best reviews, a Que book by Amit Kalani. This one is for the C# exam - I don't know whether he does VB as well.

The official Microsoft books had pretty poor reviews.

Yea i checked to see if Amit had VB books and he doesn't. Mike Gunderloy received good reviews though so hopefully that will work out for me :).
