Are VeritasFS compatible between platforms?

I am hoping that this is the case but would like to confirm. Can I create a Veritas FS on a disk attached to a sun and then physically remove the disk and attach it to an AIX machine, mount the FS and access the data without worry?

only if you have the veritas software running on the AIX box. Veritas FS is VxFS, AIX native FS is JFS.
