Are these Domains Pointing to the Same Hosting Account?

Hi there,

Forgive my lack of networking experience - but i am trying to figure out if 2 domain names ar epointing to the same hosting account.

I done a tracert on both domains and they are identical, as are the who is search details (domain ip) - but does this mean they are pointing to the same account (e.g. - one account has been paid for) or that they are just hosted by the same company (which i know they are).

E.g. - is there any indications or such that woudl show they ar epointing to the smae hosting account i could find?

If both domain names ping/trace to the same IP address, then they are probably on the same physical server.
The hosting company is renting out virtual servers. There can be a half a dozen of them on the same physical server.
but the bottom line is that only the hosting company can tell you what virtual servers are assigned to which account.
