Are old reports and compiled reports conpatible with new version

We are using 8.5 pro and want to buy the latest developer suite release.

We have ALOT of reports and also alot of Compiled reports witht the distribution expert that have been make into EXE's

Will the latest version run these old reports?

Will it change the way the compiled reports run?
