Are filters case sensitive?

I have setup some filters to exclude certain directories and it says "AE3173 Invalid filter, sys:\restoretemp".
When I look at this file through windows explorer, it shows the directory name as;

RestoreTemp

So I need to know if the filters are case sensitive because if they are then this may impact a lot of the filters I have in place.

I currently have all of my filters setup using lowercase letters.
Should I be using all CAPS instead?

Because of this error, I'm not getting any backup at all.

This is using Arcserve 2000 on NT4 and I'm backing up a Novell 5.0 server using the agent.

Please Help! I need to get a backup!

Thanks in advance.

I have never known the filters be case sensitive?? Just as long as you are putting the "\" after the volume name (SYS:\PUBLIC for example) which you appear to be doing, I can't understand what the problem is?

Unless you have to configure the filter to look at the 8.3 directory name rather than the long directory name?? -----------------------------------------------------
