Are Behaviours lost if you extract .dirs from an .exe?

I used Xena to extract the .dir's of a friends .exe projector file and used openDIR to unprotect it.

The projector file turned out to be three separate .dir's and I am now having problems reverse engineering it so that they flow off each other.

I can't seem to see or edit any scripts for the behaviours. The script dialogue boxes appear when I go to examine the behaviour cast members, the sprite scripts or even the frame scripts but the dialogue box is empty of any commands. Just the default "on mouseUp me - end". The "actions" part of the behaviour inspector is empty too.

The buttons within the presentation seem to all work but I can't work out why the scripts for the behaviours have disappeared.

Running out of time...help!

yes ... the products created to reverse the projector file was originally designed so people could get the graphics, movies, music from the files ... but no scripts will remain since they were converted to machine code during the compiling stage.
