Hi All

This upgrade is still giving me nightmares! I have managed to get the data to 5.6 (thanks for tips Ettienne) and now I am stick again up grading to 6.0. As far as I was aware this was a relatively simple step!

GL/BK/TX/AP activate with np problem. AR gets some way through the activation process and then returns an error

Days Receivable Outstanding Processor. Record already exists. 21:26:31 - Accounts
Receivable 6.0A
System error. Unable to convert Days Receivable Outstanding Processor

I have discovered that it is failing when trying to create the table ARDRO, which is just a view used in the portal. I am not using portal, but it is installed.

Does anyone know where this information is coming from? I would like to know because there is rubbish in some records the SESSDATE field, i.e. 2090611, which is clearly not a date. There are 2 records with these funny dates. Whilst many of the other look a bit odd, they are at least in date format.

I am convinced that this is the cause of the activation not happening.

Please you clever people, I could really do with some help here. If you look for these errors or search any Accpac knowledge base - not a thing! Never heard of!

BTW - just in case you didn't read my last post - MSSQL upgrade from 5.4 to 6.0, DB size 72Gbs. I have through 5.5 to 5.6 (with a lot of difficulty). Now trying for 6.0.

Many thanks

I would edit those suspect dates and change them to valid dates, then try again.
Me thinks that 2090611 should be 20090611.

Hi Ettienne

I did that - thanks. Ran the activation again, Same error message and the same suspect dates are back in the table, i.e. 2090611

It must be getting these dates from somewhere?
