Arcseve 2000 Detecting wrong type of tapes.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me.
We have an IBM 3582 LTO2 tape drive. We've loaded LTO2 tapes into the drive and when we format them they show up in arcserve as Ultrium-1.

Has anyone ever had this?? I've upgraded to SP5 for arcserve and the drive firmware is at the latest level.

The Media Characteristics shown in Device Management are cosmetic only and do not effect the functionality.

So it does not matter if it shows the wrong media type.
