Has anyone with ARCservIT 6.61 or better had any experience with the new product BrightStor Enterprise Backup? If so, did CA correct the problems that were in ARCservIT or did they, for the most part, follow onto BrightStor Enterprise Backup? An example would be the tape handling problems that were in ARCservIT, i.e. process can't find a blank tape to continue an in progress backup to. And there are inventoried and available blank tapes in the tape library system. Please let me hear some comparisons, good or bad.

Mate,
Enterprise Backup, is basically the following. It has the GUI of ARCserve 2000, but the blood and guts are from CA's high performance unix engine Alexandria. I assure you the guts of enterprise backup are different to ARCserve2000. Man, it's like comparing windows 3.1 to Windows .NET advanced server.

Any more questions, let me know.
