We have upgraded to Arcserve 7 from Arcserve 6.6 IT Enterprise edition. We run a Netware 5.1 sp3 server. In Arcserve IT, we could copy files from a remote work station(source) to a drive on a server (destination) by running the Arcserve Agent on the workstation. We used the IPX connectivity to do this. The Arcserve 6.6 Manager would show as an option a destination on a server. For example, we could copy a directory from the C:\ drive on the remote workstation to the Sys Volume on the Novell Server (F drive).

Now, with Arcserve 7, I can't see any place where you can do the same thing. I do see that you could copy files from the agent workstation but only to a destination of "media" which for us means dlt tape.

Can you copy files from a remote workstation to a server drive using the Arcserve Agent in Arcserve 7? If so, how?

Thanks

I think I have similair question. The short cut is moved to under utility from the first page. You can get to the copy from menu bar -->copy manager

Thanks. I do know where the Copy Manager is but it still doesn't show any destination other than to media (tape). That's my problem -- how to make that copy go to disk, that's my question.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and if you know the answer to how to select a destination for a copy to a disk, then please advise.
