ARCserveNt database stop

Hi All

I am running ARCserveNT for Windows NT (version 6.61 (Build 834SP2A). Whenever I perform the backup at the end of complision I am getting error

Backup operation incomplete.
Database Engine is stopped
[CAT] Failed to login to ARCserveIT Database. (EC=2)

then If I start Database Engine again I getting Dr. Western log error message and if i save the log again database engine is stopped

Even I moved all files in E:\ARCserveIT\Temp directory and restart my computer.

I created new job still I am getting the same error message.

Hi,,

Looks like the ARCserver DB engine has a problem...

setup the DB engine to start with the ARCserver system account...
if this doesnt help..
initialise the DB...

final try reinstall ARCserve
