Hey all,
Here's my issue.
Arcserve seems to be hanging my NT4 server if I perform and tape operations during the day (when users are logged on.) The event log gives me an Event ID:3013 The redirector has timed out a request to <servername>. Then it gives me 103 Event IDs: 2022 - The server was unable to find a free connection X times in the last 60 seconds.
Originally I thought this was a traffic issue, but I've checked and the use of the server is pretty low. Microsoft says the event IDs indicate that "a file was being grown when there wasn't enough free space or the disk is VERY fragmented." I've ruled out both of those possibilities since there's more than enough free space and fragmentation is not an issue.
My gut tells me it's something to do with the open file agent, but I'm kind of at a loss. Any ideas?
