ArcServeIT 6.6

I am getting what appears on the monitor to be write errors and when I look in the Tape$svr text document I get this message.Jun 29 09:05:03 SCSI-ID 6: (SCSI READ POSITION)

sorry but we need a lot more information on this - netware version/patch level, patch level of arcserve, hardware details, whether it has ever worked, etc.

Netware 4.11 ArcServeIT 6.6 no patches compaq tape drive running Compaq Proliant 1500. This did work. I started having write problems thought it was the tape drive install new tape drive that is exactly the same. Re-installed ArcServeIT. This is the same problem that I had before.

I honestly surprised you have anything working at all with 6.6 unpatched patch up to SP4 and the latest added device support patch, and sorry but 'Compaq tape drive' really doesn't tell me anything absout whether your drive was ever supported. What Netware patch level? Did you try using new tapes?
