Hello,

We are using Unixware 7.1 with Arcserveit 6.6 - our
server went down and when I am trying to do a restore of a session
from the tape backup created by ARCserveit - it stops because of a
"Remove Partial File" on some of the files. If I unselect these
files to restore - it comes back with the same message on other files... We
have 10 gigs to restore - and clicking of files it cannot restore
would take forever. I have even tried a different tape from a week ago
and get the same messages - so I know it is ot related to the actual tape.

Is there any way of reading the ARCserveit Tape without ARCserveit -
i.e cpio - if so how??? I tried cpio - it came back as not a cpio
file.

Any help will be greatly appreciated - in how to retrieve the
information from the tape ?
What does the "Remove Partial file" mean ???
