ArcServe6.1 Backs up Bindery em servers not the NDS..WHY?

3 Compaq Proliant 3000 servers running Novell 3.12 (bindery). We have one Compaq Proliant 800 server running Novell 4.x (NDS). ARCserve 6.1 backs up the 3 servers running 3.12 (bindery) but not the server running 4.x (NDS). When I submit the job it accepts then fails.....???? What have I missed?

Are you using a NDS user with approprite rights? Which server is running the ARCserve? Is the entire backup of the 4.x server failing or just the backup of NDS?

I have the superuser rights to the arcserve. A Novell 3.12 server is where the arcserve is loaded and is running from. When the job is submitted to the server it attempts to attach to the server and then fails with the following errors:
backup failed - Disk read Error and
failed to attach to server.
Arcserve is attaching to all servers using the same Queue AQ6_CHEY.
The entire back up fails.
