Arcserve2000SP4 Exchange 2000SP3 fails to backup?

I seem to persistly get e8552 and e8563 errors when trying to backup exchange. Can anyone point me in the correct direction of where I should be looking into. Config is:

Is there something I'm missing from the configuration of arcserve or exchange?

Exc 2000 SP3 exchange agent sp4 installed on member server of single AD domain. Arcserve sp4 install on member server of same ad domain. All OS's are patched to sp3. %-)
