ARCserve2000/Win2000 Alerts forwarded to Outlook via Exchange server

Greetings!

I have Outlook2000 and ARCserve2000 running on Win2000 Server and Exchange Server 5.5 running on NT4. The Win2000 machines converse with the NT4 ones (among them the PDC) flawlessly. Detto with Exchange Server.

I configured Exchange Server in the Alerts manager. Can send a test message to the target mailbox, yet, at the end of the backup/restore sessions, there are no job status messages in the target mailbox. Prior to everything, I log into Exchange Server and the software confirms the profile is logged in. However, I cannot make the profile be the default profile persistently.

Any opinions?
