Arcserve2000 very slow on network, halts after a few hours !!

Arcserve 2000 hangs after a few hours of backup over the network !!
- Service pack 2 Arcserve applied
- BU agent open files running (AS2000)
- BU agent Oracle running (AS2000)

we can't fix the problem, can anyone out there help us?
