Arcserve2000 prob

Hi Folks'

I'm running arcserve 2000 (sp4)with the exchange backup option and my back ups keep failing. I recieve the following error messages in the activity log.
E4101 Unable to log into database engine (database=arcserve)
E3530 Unable to login into database
The back up is also set upto recycle tapes but I am getting a message saying that ther is no media present (W3831)

Anyone have any ideas as to why it is not logging into the database engine?

According to CA's support site, you should check the Arcserve\database folder for any r*.* files. Stop the Arcserve engines and delete them, then restart the engines. If you still receive the same errors, it's probably a licensing issue.
