Hi there,

if I'm not mistaken, you need exchange in order to send an alert through mail? We don't have exchange, but is there maybe a workaround or any other mail-server for WIN2K that can handle mail from the alerter?

ARCserve v9 can handle SMTP for e-mail alerts. For ARCserve 2000 you must have Exchange server or Lotus Notes to configure Alert for e-mails
