arcserv61 question on faiure to connect.
getting message:
Target 'servername' /data: missed from backup
1 target missed from backup

job was rebuilt, still can't get data volume to connect.
server was recycled, still can't get this volume backed up.

any suggestions or assistance is appreciated

Could it be a permissions/rights issue?

Does the activity log show any warning or error codes/messages?

What is your operating system? If it is NetWare, are you using the full distinguished name of the user?

eg.

.BACKUPUSER.ORGANIZATIONAL.TREE

or

.CN=BACKUPUSER.OU=ORGANIZATIONAL.O=TREE -----------------------------------------------------
