Arcserve was not detected on the [server name]

I am trying to restore data from our backup tape but when ever I try openning the client software(Arcserver6.1) it gives me a message saying that "Arcserve was not detected on the server [server name]. please use another arcserve server. I checked the arcserve if is it loaded in the server and it was loaded. our server is netware 4.11.

Did you try doing an astop6 and then an astart6 on the server? When did you did the astart6, did everything load without errors? [sig][/sig]
