Arcserve V11

Hi,
I need to completely rebuild (OS rebuild) Arcserve 11 server connected to DELL Tapelibrary. What is the best way to get the Arcserve database, media pools, etc back. I have the Arcserve local directory backed up during the last backup. The Tapelibrary uses bar codes. Will the old media pool rotation still continue after the Arcserve has been restored back?

So what excatly do I need to do after the OS and ArcServe have been reinstalled?

HI,

If you have a full backup of the backup server, there would be a seperate session on the media for the Database folder.

Use the "Database recovery" tool under ultilties on the ARCserve manager,

Once you recover the database, all the media pool information should be back.
