ArcServe V11 TCP reconnection timeout Ox2746 1

Arcserve V11 - backup to W2K server with Client Agent V11 - backup fails with "error TCP reconnection timeout Network error 0X2746."
Have uninstalled and reinstalled both Arcserve V11 Manager on server A (W2K server) and V11 client agent Server B (W2K server)

Please advise any recommendations that would assist in resolving this issue

Hi eellis,

I'm having the same problem with an ARCServe v. 11.1 to W2K SP4 server using the Client Agent v. 11.1. Both servers are running on Dell servers. The Network error code that I have, though, is "0x274C".

In the Client Agent Admin under configuration set it for low backup priority.

The problem was that the NIC was set at "Auto detect". Now that it's set to "100 Full", the backup works well.
