Arcserve Stopping half way!

Hi,

Im supporting a Windows NT Domain, have "ArcserceIT for Windows NT - Advanced Ed Version 6.1 (Build 834SP2A)" running on a BDC. When doin the brick level backup the backup stops, forcing me to end the job as it just sits there.

I was backing up the:-
C:
D:
Reg
Brick Level

gets to 99% and sits there. so i changed it to do the BL first, now it sits there on 50 % it stops after one particular mailbox, could this be corrupt thus halting the back up??

Difficult to say but could be. Any messages in the dbaxchg2.log on the Exchange server ??

could be or a problem with an attachment.

a debug trace should provide the answer. There is a faq with the instructions on how to enable it.

I think it must be an attachment, took the mailbox out of the backup and it ran fine. will have to get the user to have a look through their 3 GB mailbox!!! could it just be the size of it?
