Arcserve session not closing

Backing up a Windows 2000 server from another computer. The Arcserve user connection is staying open. The next night Arcserve opens another connection, and so on through the week.

At the end of about 10 days we get a message in arcserve that it could not connect to the server. If I go in manually and clear the arcserve connection on that server, everything works fine again. Arcserve is backing up several other W2K servers, and this is not happening on any other machine.

W2K has all SPs and patches up to date...

Does anyone know how I can clear this connection automatically?

Maybe you can use

Net Session \\Computername /Delete in the "post" option...

just a thought..
