Arcserve restore job not starting

We have had this problem previously and again today where a restore job is created but it doesn't start.

Arcserve 6.6 for Netware running on a Novell 5 server.

All other nightly backup jobs have been running okay.

Tried:-
- Setting the job as a media and session restore but still sits there.
- Checked the workstation manager PC submitting the job and date/time are okay.
- Checked the server scheduler and all looks okay.
- I have changed the time but it still fails to start.
- Ran ASTOP6 and ASTART6
- Submitted the job as several different users (IT Staff)

When this happened months ago, the restore job just started several days after being stuck in the job queue.

Anyone had this problem before?

hi ...in respect whit your question about the arcserve job .try this .

1. Rename the file Ca_lic to Ca_lic1
2. Reinstall the Arcserve product (ex. arcserve workgroup)
3. In the reinstalation select the REPAIR option
4. And try to start the job again.

This wokrs whit ARCSERVE 2000 in a WINDOWS NT 4.0 SERVER station. I whish this can help you.
