Arcserve R4101 & E3530

Excuse for my english ...
I use Arcserve 2000 on a server and each night, I made a backup of the whoole disc on a tape.
Since many weeks, I have problem. Sometimes, the tape leave in the tape reader and when I read the log file, I find theses errors :
- E4101 : Impossible to be connected to the data base motor
- E3530 : Impossible to be connected to the data base
Is it a corruption of the data base ?
What is the solution ?
