Arcserve R15 and R12.5 on same arcserve domain

Hi

I want know if i can use the both version R15 and R12.5 on the same arcserve domain without problem.

I have 5 backup server in R12.5 on 4 physical location ( 2 in headquarter and 1 by branch office 3). My projet is upgrade the two in my headquarter at R15 and a few week upgrade the other server (in branch office). The one in my headquarter is my main server with a sql server database for central management.

I think the console version R15 can manipulate the version 12.5 of arcserve but i'm not sure. Anybody have try this setup and can give some advertise.

They cannot share a domain. You can setup a new domain for the 15 system and then as systems are upgraded move them from the old to the new domain.

Ok they cannot share a domain so i need a second sql server too ?

I can have a two arcserve domain on the same sql server and how i can migrate the history job and media between the two servers with disiturb my backup.
