Arcserve R12 rotation scheme and start of week

Hi All

I am not sure if anyone has done this, i have tried searching for a solution but have come up with no answers. We are using arcserve and the current rotation scheme is a 7 day full backup using gfs. The question i have is without changing the subsequent days(mon-saturday) to incremental/differential and keeping them as full backups what is the best to make sunday the weekly backup rather than saturday?

It should be just a change of when arcserve thinks the start of week is but i can find no reference to possible changing this unless using the incremental change of mon-sat. Any help would be appreciated.

no can do.

GFS weekly backup is by definition the last full backup of the week. Saturday is the 7th & last day of the week and so it will be the weekly.

Thanks for the info. Thought as much and this is not a problem at all. Have reworked the backup rotation and all is looking good.
