Greetings, I am a first time poster, and have read and attempted many of the solutions on this site for my problem to no avail.
Here are the details:
Windows SBS 2003
Brightstor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1
Errors: E1107 and 12002 E License Violations.
This CA product ran for many years on this machine but eventually stopped working properly due to corrupt DB issues. The decision was made to move to Symantec Backup Exec going forward.
I now have an immediate and critical need to recover a MS Exchange Database from an old CA Tape.
I have gone through the de-install/re-install process several times, modified Registry settings, etc., while trying to reload the product from scratch. I am looking for a big hammer approach to getting this software installed, but can not reload the OS on our one and only production server.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
