ARCserve Notes Domino Agent install problem

Hi
When trying to install the ArcServe Notes backup agent onto our server, after reboot our server lost all of its file assosications, basically the hkey-classes-root folder got wiped out by the installation. how do we go about repairing the system? I copied a classes root from another workin system and tha restored associations, but now we can't copy & paste on our system?

Win NT 4.0 SP6a ArcServe v9 Notes Domino R4 & R5
