I am having a problem with Arcserve 6.61 SP2 for NT not being able to back up a Sybase database dump file on one of my unix machines. It can see all the other files on it and anything else I put in the directory the database dump file is in, but this file never show up in the backup wizard. Is there a size limit to what it can see and backup? (the dump file is 4.5GB) Any help is appreciated

I have no experience with Sybase, but if you can't see something when trying to set up the backup, it is usually because the Arcserve agent for that product either is not loaded at all, or was installed before the service was installed.
Eg if you have SQL loaded on a server and try to back up an SQL database but can't see 'Microsoft SQL' on the backup, youu have either not installed the Arcserve SQL Agent, or it was installed before SQL was installed on the server.
Hope this is of some use.
