Greetings,

I am experiencing this error.

Working with CA and Novell for many many months, we are unable to find out a resolution.

Has anyone found a workaround or

Has anyone had this problem and then after upgrading to Netware 6, the problem has been resolved?

I look forward to your responses.
Thankyou
Jason

What hardware (including SCSI card and tape drive) are you using? Also, is the tape drive connected to the internal SCSI bus or an external card? Either way, what IRQ is it using?

Are you using the latest SP for either NetWare 5.0 or 5.1 (which one?) and have you updated your SCSI drivers and firmware?? -----------------------------------------------------

Thanks for your reply.

Everything is patched up to the latest. Os, CA and compaq.

Were using an internal diff ultra3 card I believe. Its been awhile. We tested other cards and had same problem.

I spent months working with CA, Novell and Compaq trying every possible combination to no avail. We all concluded that the CA article stats, its a design issue with netware. Question is, does Netware 6 have the same issue?
