arcserve it on windows 2000

I am trying to service pack our newly installed arcserve it on a windows 2000 server (upgraded to arcserve 2000).

As we are struggling to get a brick level backup on the exchange server (5.5).

SP2a says it is running the wrong OS and sp3 for arcserve 2000 does not see anything to upgrade.

Are there any patches for the exchange agent as the backup randomly stalls on a mail and fails.

Please help.

Yes. I just had this problem.

Go to this link, choose English and select the patches for your Exchange Server (patch and a .dll file replacement). Neither required a reboot.
