I have Arcserve 6.1 for Netware w/ HP surestore changer option. I used to back agents to backup NT stand-alone servers, however, that was inconsistant at best. Now I want to try the demo of 6.5 for NT which came on a CD from Computer Associates. I loaded the Manager on an NT server and NT agents on the other stand-alone NT servers. An error come back saying "AGENT VERSION NOT SUPPORTED". Do I even NEED an AGENT on those stand-alone NT servers I want to backup?
