ARCSERVE Exchange 5.5. Brick Level Backup

I have applied all necessary service packs to both Arcserve and the Exchange Server/Agent. Brick level backups were doing great - running about 3.5 hours getting 105 MB+ minute for two days. Without making any changes it is now taking upto 16+ hours at 10.09 MB minute. Any ideas.

I dont think this might happent suddenly...

did you apply any patches on Exchange??

Do u run any maintenance utilities within the backup window??

I guess your Tape is bad or you need to clean tapehead with clean tape.
If it isn't work, you can find a exchange patch in ca website by serach and install patch to see it.
