Arcserve estimates file sizes

hi all

when we are backing up i see that arcserve estimates the file sizes is directory on each server before it backs it up.

is there a way to switch this of as it doubles the amount of time to do the backups and it is starting to run into work hours the following day

Yes it is in the options of the backup job under operation. You will have to modify each job and then resave them so this change takes place. Please note this is ARcserve 2000 I doubt it is much diff. in other versions. Thanks...
