Arcserve dr.dll error cannot see media

Hi,

We have purchased the Arcserve 2000 dr option (for our win2k server). Trying it out on a test Compaq server. Fails to see the media after running for a while - "dr.dll please mount media". However the tape drive (compaq DLT 35/70) is seen on server boot up and the tape is ok. Boot disks work ok, patch disk works ok. Nothing has really changed since it did the full backup in terms of the connectivity. Our disaster recovery is proving a disaster!

What is the service pack level on the DR option....
Follow this


Pls apply SP4 on ARCServe
DR Sp4 on DR + QO30557
SP4 on remote client agent.

redo the backup\recreate disks...

Thanks for your reply, we are using Arcserve 2000 WG ed, plus SP4, then we applied DR SP4. Should we apply further hot fixes. Prior to DR SP4 we could not create the patch disk correctly, but this fixed that. Window 2K is running on SP2. When we had Novell DR was so easy, now it seems a palaver!
