Arcserve date structure

I am currently running 32 ArcServe installations backing up 45 servers, on some servers the Arcserve data format is American and on some it is English. All servers have had Arcserve installed from a standard installation crib sheet.
Does anyone know why it does this ? [sig][/sig]
