I have Arcserve 2000 and the database keeps stopping. I het error code 2005, unable to login to database. My backup job number has a '*' next to it. Now I know that I can initialize the database, but how do I merge the tape back in for a restore? Are there any other fixes? I have plenty of disk space also. Please help.

the quick fix is initialization, the long route is to repair the db. Merge is simple, in the Manager go to Utilities Merge.
