arcserve client agent for windows nt 4.0 1

i have a nt 4.0 domain controller with lotus notes server running and a NT4.0 member server as a file server. when i try to take a back up from member server of my local machine and my pdc with client agent on it i get the error--
E8522-failed torecieve datafrom client agent(ec-10060), i am running both machine with nt serv pack 6 ,and arcserve 6.61 with no service pack. i would also like to shift arcserver from one of my machine from c drive to d drive without change of configuration it is seamless process.

the error ec=10060 is windows error mean
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Try to take a backup from Network and check if it is give the same
problem or not,If it works fine then you should apply the patches for 6.61.
