Arcserve caroot password.

I was wondering if there is a way to create a user account that may have READ only access to the Arcserve v11.5 backup jobs? I do not want to give the CAROOT password to anyone but the 3 people that currently know it.

Depends upon what you are really after. Seems kind of strang you want to have someone view the jobs, more likely you want them to check the status of the jobs rather than view the jobs themselves.

If that is what you are really after then you can setup Alerts to automatically e-mail them the job status, or just give them read permissions to the logs directory.

You are right David, I need them to be able to check the status of the jobs. I would rather send them a job status report.
