arcserve beginning?

My manager had problems with Arcserve 2000, so i was assigned the task of making this backup solution work.
I deleted the program off the server and made a clean install.
I want to create a job that will create/do a full back up during the week and a full back up on Friday's.
We want the job to use the tape continuously.What I mean by continously is we want the same tape to be used over and over.Lets say the job begins on Monday and ends Friday with a full backup, if the tape is full we want Arcserve to start again with the partial backup on Monday with the same tape.So the tape is used over and over , week by week , without changing tapes.
Can anyone please offer solutions or hints on how to begin.

In your case,using 1 tape only,it seems better to make a full backup everyday.
Schedule this for weekdays.
in the options menu u can configure the job.
like:
dont eject tape after backup.
leave achive bit on
make sure u use the filter option to exclude pagefile.sys etc.
i dont know how much data u want to backup and how long this takes.
So im not sure this is the right solution.
worth a try maybe
