Arcserve and RAID-Level 5

By enterprise edition I assume you mean advanced as there is no such thing as arcserve 2000 enterprise edition. If your going to use RAID configuration on your tape drives then yes, the RAID option is required, if your using RAID on your drives then it has nothing to do with arcserve.
