ARCServe 7 wont start backup... 1

In June of 2003 we rolled out a new Windows 2000 server running ARCServe 7.0. To date, I've gotten maybe one or two good backups out of it.

The server is a Terminal Server and I'm loading most ARCServe jobs via RDP, logged in as administrator. For the last few days I've had a job scheduled to start just after midnight and each day when I log in and look at the job status, I see that the job did not start at all.

Is there some sort of agent that needs to be loaded in order for the ARCServe jobs to run or am I missing something?

Certainly the early versions of AS2000 had issues with TS. First off, make sure you are at SP5 level (Build number should report Build 1110 if you are). If you are not, apply SP5 from here:
