Arcserve 7 - Cannot Restore Directory

I'm trying to restore a directory from a tape I had to merge into the database. Keep coming up with 0014 error messages - restore operation incomplete. I've changed the asconfig.ini per CAI's tech notes . . . but no go. Any ideas?? (Netware 4.11 server). Thanks.
