I'm running Arcserve 6.61 on an NT 4 box SP5.
When trying to perform a 'Restore by Query' for
all JPEGs I run into some trouble. After the files
have loaded the Arcserve gooie requires
you to select every single jpeg individually.
'Mouse over grey button infront of file, click,
button is green...few times?...fun...thousands of time?...mindnumbing!'

There's no select all button, the space bar doesn't
work as a mouse click, can't highlight all files
that are loaded, no CTRL+A, etc.

Does anybody know if there's a script I can use to
that will select all JPEGs so I can restore them?
Is there a way to do this within Arcserve? Is there
another efficient alternative to restore these JPEGs
within Arcserve?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried a ctrl click after clicking on one file? Click on the first file on the list then hold ctrl and click on the file on the bottom of the list, then hopefully it will all be highlighted greeeeeeeen

just a thought,

I would have selected by tree the directories to be restored.
Especially if jpg files were spread out all over a volume.
Then set a filter to to only restore *.jpg or *.jpeg or whatever. This worked for me when pkzippedfiles.exe attacked. (remember that cute one?) Filter icon looks like cheesecloth strainer on my menu bar.
