ArcServe 6.61 NT and Oracle 8.1.7

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows if ArcServe 6.61NT and Oracle 8.1.7 are compatible or if they're incompatible in any way. I know CA's website says that they should be okay, but we've been having our database corrupted when the backup is run. When we upgraded to 8.1.6 we had to run some patches to ArcServe but CA hasn't given us anything this time. The phone desk hasn't helped? If anyone is running this combination, could you tell me if you're having any problems? Thanks.

ARCserveIT 6.61 Build 834SP2A with Patch for Oracle Agent ( LO67816, LO81733 )
works fine with Oracle 8.1.7
