Arcserve 6.61 able to run on Win 2000

Yes, ArcServe 6.61 will run under Windows2000. However, you will not be able to backup any Active Directories. This is only available in ArcServe2000. Monkeylizard

In order for Arcserve 6.61 to run on Windows 2000 it must be patched to build 897, this used to be a service pack available for CA. However I beleive this is no longer available (ask your vendor)as they are trying to push everyone to upgrade to Arcserve 2000. But monkeylizard is correct even though Arcserve 6.61 build 897 will run on Windows 2000 it will NOT backup Active Directory.
